Rachel has an extensive background in educating students of all ages. Her experience in teaching mainly focused on the arts until she discovered yoga after a job layoff. She was initially drawn to yoga for stress relief however she soon found the benefits of practicing yoga were far reaching in her life. Rachel received her 200-hour yoga teaching certification in March of 2014 from Namah Shivaya.
She brings her passion for yoga along with benefits such as increased flexibility, muscle strength, toning, and peace of mind to the classes she teaches. In addition to yoga, Rachel enjoys volunteering, pursuing her master’s degree, museum work, and spending time with her family.
