Namah Shivaya Jyoti Yoga believes in the healing power of yoga, and our goal is making yoga accessible to everyone. People of all ages, body types, fitness levels, and abilities will find something to benefit them at our studio. We have Restorative, Yoga 101, and Meditation which are great for beginners, anyone recovering from injury, or experienced practitioners who appreciate a slower, more soothing practice. Our Beginners and Gentle classes will provide some physical challenges while still moving slowly enough to make them accessible to a variety of students. We also have All Levels and Ashtanga classes for those wanting a more active practice, though even these classes are designed to accommodate a range of fitness levels. We’ve even have a class for kids! In addition to the physical postures, our teachers bring in elements of yoga philosophy to help you achieve personal growth both on and off the mat. At Namah Shivaya Jyoti Yoga Dallas we have a simple motto:
The mindful practice of self awareness, selfless service and compassion for all sentient beings.
Namah Shivaya Yoga Dallas Teacher Training draws its roots from the authentic yoga practices in India for thousands of years. The Namah Shivaya Yoga Program conducts Yoga certifications in the Dallas, Mexico and Yoga Retreats in India.
We pride ourselves in being one of the authentic yoga teacher training schools in the United States that offers an in depth understanding of the
deeper dimensions of the Science of Yoga and philosophy of yoga which include a study of the governing principles of yoga as taught in the Bhagwad Gita, Patanjali Yoga Sutras and The Hatha Yoga Pradipika.
It offers an in depth understanding of the practice of yoga postures with correct alignment, linking movement with breath, modifications for injuries and pregnancy, relaxations techniques and developing skill in teaching a yoga class.
The programs draw from the core principles of the ancient teachings of Yoga in India. The practice of Yoga plants the seed of personal growth, bringing the mind, body and spirit in harmony. We encourage our students to develop their own teaching style, finding inner freedom and expression of their true inner selves. To realize their practice by spreading peace, self-acceptance and awareness.
Our practice encompasses Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa, Kundalini and Kriya Yoga. Our practices of asana and pranayama incorporate the core principles of the Hatha Yoga Pradapika, the ancient text for yoga. Our Yoga training programs are designed to transform the physical, mental and spiritual practice of our students.
On completion of the course, you will be able to Register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT).
